The City of Mandurah is calling for Expressions of Interest from community members to join the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Steering Group.
The City’s RAP was first introduced in 2012. The current Plan builds on the great outcomes achieved through previous plans, and ensures the City is working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the journey towards reconciliation.
The Plan focuses on three key pillars – building relationships, respect for Aboriginal people and culture, and creating opportunities in the community.
Community members interested in joining the Steering Group can contact Community Development Officer (Reconciliation) Tara Hohaia on 9550 3845. For information on the City’s RAP, go to www.mandurah.wa.gov.au/community/programs-and-activities/reconciliation
Expressions of Interest are now open, and close on Thursday, July 22
